I'd like to return to my old job but I feel as though my knowledge and skills are out of date - how can I update them?
There might be refresher courses that can update your skills and fill you in on changes in your line of work. Or you could take a computer course to update your IT skills.

Can I work flexibly to juggle childcare and work?
Many employers try to be flexible to take childcare into account - ask about their family friendly policies. You could explore flexible working options like part-time work, job-share, working from home and freelancing. Make sure you're claiming all the help you're entitled to, including schemes like Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit and free childcare for three and four year olds.
