Help and advice
The Health Learning and Skills Advice Line provides careers information, advice and guidance to support people who work in, or are considering a career in healthcare. Free, expert, independent and confidential, the service is run by the Careers Advice Service and covers the whole healthcare sector.
While many people think of healthcare as doctors and nurses, the healthcare sector also offers a range of jobs for receptionists, IT professionals, scientists, porters, accountants and caterers, to name but a few.
If you are looking for information, advice and guidance on a healthcare career, if you want to study but are not sure what course is right for you, or if you need some advice on taking your career to the next level, then the Health Learning and Skills Advice Line is for you.
Whether you want to develop new skills, improve your job prospects or change jobs completely, we can help. Call us on 08000 150 850 to talk in confidence to one of our friendly, trained advisers.
Don't worry if you can't call during the day as lines are open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday. You can also email an adviser or book a free call back at a time to suit you.
